Former HP chief executive Enrique Lores became president and chief executive officer on March 1, 2026, and in April 2026 the company reorganized into three businesses: Checkout Solutions and PayPal, Consumer Financial Services and Venmo, and Payment Services and Crypto.

Enrique Lores is president and chief executive officer of PayPal, in charge of the company's global strategy, operations and growth. He took the role on March 1, 2026, after serving on PayPal's board for nearly five years and as its chair from July 2024. Before PayPal he was president and chief executive officer of HP Inc., capping more than 35 years at HP in which he ran the Personal Systems, Print, Industrial and Services businesses and led the Separation Management Office during the 2015 split of Hewlett-Packard Company. He sits on the international advisory board of Esade Business School and is active in the Business Roundtable and the World Economic Forum's International Business Council. He holds an electrical engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and an MBA from Esade.
